Detroit Business Consulting Hosts Regional Conference

As the week begins, employees at Detroit Business Consulting are taking some time out from saving the world to look ahead and plan goals for our continued personal and professional development. We practice this habit weekly; however, the goals for this upcoming time period are bigger and better than ever. Why, you ask? Well, with a regional conference being hosted in our very own city, we at DBC can’t help but be motivated for an amazing time of learning, collaboration and widespread success!

Next week, business consultants from across the Midwest region will fly, drive and walk (just kidding…I hope) into the Metro Detroit area for our company’s quarterly conference. The chilly city of Troy can expect to feel the warmth from the motivated individuals who are looking forward to having the exciting opportunity to hear from the recently promoted upper management team, our international executive board and a few world-renowned professional business keynote speakers.

DBC President, Mike Rosenberg, is sending the managers, assistant managers, team leaders, entry-level account representatives, administrators and interns to the conference. The attendees will join over 200 other area participants in the day-long event’s festivities; networking events, breakout luncheons, simulation training, philanthropy presentations and, of course, an awards dinner at one of Troy’s local best restaurants will round out the day.

As business professionals, Detroit Business Consulting employees are looking forward to the opportunity to better themselves and grow in our business. As sales experts, our company is excited for innovative marketing strategies. As philanthropists, DBC can’t wait to see how the employee’s hard work has benefited impoverished children throughout the world.

Stay tuned for a blog on Detroit Business Consulting’s experience after next week’s event!

Detroit Business Consulting Hosts Midwest Conference in Troy

Detroit Business Consulting attends a quarterly conference that focuses on the growth and development of the employees at the company.  It provides everyone at the company the opportunity to network with other successful individuals in the sales and marketing and nonprofit world, as well as learn valuable skills from their business experiences.  Speakers at the conference included entrepreneurs from France, Chicago, Macedonia, Washington, D.C. and our own firm here in Troy,

At the conference, two individuals were recognized from Detroit Business Consulting for their leadership skills and growth within the business.  Andrew Tehranisa was recognized from the sales and marketing division for his work with Comcast Business Class and the strong leadership example he shows in the office.  The award recognizes the success he has had since joining our company, as well as the advancement opportunities our CEO sees with Andrew in the future.  Andrew graduated from the University of Michigan with an engineering degree and has been a valuable member of our team since joining DBC.

In addition to our sales and marketing division, Detroit Business Consulting expanded with a nonprofit division in April of 2013, partnering up with Children International to help increase their fundraising initiatives.  Abby Hill was recognized from our charity division for her achievements with the company.  Abby joined our nonprofit team after moving to Michigan from North Carolina.  Her leadership and sociology background attributed to her ability to work with a multitude of personalities when working with different donors.  Her passion for working with children stems from her past experience working as a toddler teacher, and that has translated well to her work with Children International.  We are excited to see what’s next for Abby with our company!

Detroit Business Consulting Trains in Atlanta

Detroit Business Consulting sent assistant manager, Kyle Norman, and top account manager, Aaron Wick, to Atlanta this week to do some training for Comcast Business Class.  This is a great opportunity for these team members to be networking with other professionals that work on the same campaign and sharpen their skills.  They were also treated to an Atlanta Braves baseball game earlier in the week!  Kyle and Aaron have been in Atlanta all week, spending time in the office there and sharing their knowledge of the campaign.

ATLKyle and Aaron will be flying back to Michigan tonight, in time to prepare for our regional sales and marketing conference this weekend in Troy.  This is the first time this quarterly conference has been held in Michigan, so we are proud to be the sponsoring city! Check out our blog next week for more details about the conference.

Detroit Business Consulting Attends Conference in Indianapolis

Detroit Business Consulting will be in Indianapolis today and tomorrow for a conference for sales, marketing and nonprofit professionals from the Midwest. This conference is even more exciting for us because managers Michael Rosenberg and Laura Bolter were both chosen to speak at the conference. Michael has spoken at both regional and national conferences before, and we are excited to see Laura speak for the first time since joining our company.  Graduating college with a Communications degree, Laura is no stranger to public speaking.

Traveling, networking and conferences are key components to the cycle of constant development that Detroit Business Consulting values. Check out the Facebook or website for pictures from the conference next week!
