Detroit Business Consulting has expanded our nonprofit division to get even more creative with our fundraising initiatives. This week we started doing mall events, where we are set up at a kiosk at the mall and are talking with individuals on behalf of Children International and gaining their sponsorship. When we gain someone as a sponsor, we are actually lining up a specific donor with a specific child. Children International helps about 340,000 children in 11 different countries, and Detroit Business Consulting is proud to be part of that sponsorship.
One of our charity team members, Nicole Lysak, has been helping to test-pilot and launch this new version of the campaign. “You have to constantly be innovative with your marketing strategies and this is the next step for us. We know the difference we make for these children on a daily basis, so we enjoy finding new ways to gain sponsors and get the word out about this amazing organization,” Nicole explained.
