Thanksgiving Feast

We celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday on Tuesday with a turkey dinner for everyone at the company! We had a potluck style dinner with all of the traditional dishes- turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, pumpkin bread, and much more!  After we had stuffed ourselves with appetizers, dinner and desserts, we spent the rest of the evening playing the hat game and hanging out together. We had some new faces in the crowd since some people brought more friends with them.

Our dinner on Tuesday was a great way to celebrate the holiday since we weren’t all together on the real day.  Since most people were spending Thursday with their families, we took advantage of the opportunity to have our Thanksgiving a little early. Apparently we have some great cooks who work here because the entire dinner was WONDERFUL!

Our turkey bowl on Sunday was a blast also! Mike and Neil were the captains and they picked fair teams so they were evenly divided with guys and girls. It was a beautiful day on Sunday so we were able to play in pants and t-shirts. The game was really exciting with a few interceptions and lots of touchdowns! Thanks to everyone who participated!

Passionaltey Pink Day!

Most days at DBC are full of energy and excitement, but Wednesday had a special kick to it! We had our breast cancer awareness day for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Our company made a donation to the the Susan G. Komen foundation to help fund research for breast cancer, and we also had a “Passionately Pink Day” to help raise awareness for the foundation. The ladies wore pink shirts, wristbands, and some even wore pink shoes! The guys had wristbands also, and were either sporting a pink shirt or tie.

Krystal and Elizabeth helped make the atmosphere even more fun by making cinnamon rolls with pink icing and strawberry cupcakes that were individually decorated with icing in the shape of the breast cancer ribbon. When our sales representatives were meeting with clients on Wednesday, they advocated for the foundation and explained what our company was doing to help support it.

Thanks to everyone for dressing up and helping us raise awareness for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!

4th Annual Turkey Bowl!

Start practicing your Peyton Manning spirals and Andre Johnson catches because our 4th annual office turkey bowl is taking place this Sunday!

Everyone in the office is invited to compete in the flag football fun! After the game, we will all be getting together to hang out and eat pizza, so if anyone can’t make it to the turkey bowl, they can come afterward for food. The bowl starts at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and the location will be announced during Friday’s morning meeting. Get ready for some fun!
