Football Victory!

The flag football spring league came to an end on Sunday with a final all day tournament. The games started at 10:30 a.m. and ended around 3:00 p.m. Whether wise, it was not the ideal day for a football tournament. Each game brought harder rain, but our team could not be stopped. The tournament was double elimination, and the DBC guys never suffered a loss!

Other employees not on the team came out to support and cheer for interceptions, touchdowns, and extra points. We enjoy doing activities outside of the office to promote unity and team-building. Since we won the tournament on Sunday, we will get a free buy-in for the spring league, so there will be more flag football and fun in the future!  We also participates in leagues other than flag football so that everyone can join in the fun.

Detroit Business Consulting is Golfing Again!

Detroit Business Consulting participated in the Chamber’s Golf Classic last week. The golf outing was at Oak Pointe Country Club and it provided an opportunity for employees, family and friends to join together for a day of golfing.

The Chamber’s Golf Classic was more than just a day of hitting 18 holes.  The theme this year was “safari expedition”, and there was safari cuisine and tribal music at the end of the day. The day began with a continental breakfast and was followed with putting contests, par three closest-to-the-pin contests, as well as a most accurate drive contest. Our own Taylor Cherry took home a prize for winning the longest drive contest!

Detroit Business Consulting enjoys doing activities that promote bonding and team unity. The company participated in the United States Secret Service charity golf event last week, and there will probably be more golfing events in the future!
